A- Rhinoplasty Surgery is also known as nose reshaping, nose job in Gurgaon, it is a surgical process that is performed to change the shape of the nose or to improve its function due to trauma or birth defects. Rhino means Nose, Plasty means to shape or form. Surgeon makes 3-D changes on nose which instantly reflects on other areas of the nose.

Depending upon patient’s situation, surgeons may make an incision across the bottom of the nose between two nostrils; this is open technique, whereas in close technique incision is made in the lining of the nostrils.

After this, rearrangement of cartilage and in some cases break and rearrange bone is also done to reshape the nose. A splint is usually placed on the nose for one week.

Nose will look refined over the following months, once the splint comes off after the surgery even though minor traces of swelling will disappear with time.

A- Risks include infections, post operative nose bleed, adverse reaction to the anesthesia, numbness, swelling, possible collapse of the nose, external scarring, holes inside the septal area. Another limitation is thick skin, because it is difficult to shrink and takes the shape of framework. Its problem for surgeons also, if skin won’t shrink. Risk in regards to cosmetic rhinoplasty is that results may be not as great as expected ,a person may has to undergo for another surgery (revision surgery)
